Yacht Race Off Boston Light Print
Set sail with English painter, James Buttersworth!
The maritime artist is known for his dramatic depictions, meticulous attention to detail and accuracy of movement. He crossed the pond in 1845 and made the United States his home.
The Boston Light was the first lighthouse to be built in America! In the scene, the cutter, Chiquita is in a race off the coast of Boston Harbor.
This is a remastered print of the original painting which was an oil on canvas and created circa 1880.
Also available on Canvas with a Wooden Float Frame.
